Dr. White received her M.D. from University of Kansas School of Medicine, completing her family practice residency at Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.  She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been in medical practice for 22 years.  Dr. White has been practicing medical acupuncture since completing training in 2001 and enjoys integrating acupuncture in her medical care.  She and her husband, Jim, enjoy being outside hunting and hiking.  They share their home with a dog and two cats. Dr White has retired from seeing patients but still continues to oversee the clinic operations.

Kristine Jakiemiec – PA-C

 


Kristine grew up in the Valley and graduated from Wasilla High School.  She graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Zoology and later attended the University of Washington, where she obtained her Physician’s Assistant degree.

She lives in the Valley with her husband, Michael and four children.  Her interests are horses, fishing and camping with her family and staying involved with her children’s activities.  She is excited to be raising her family and practicing medicine in the area where she grew up.

Andrew Ashton PA-C

Andrew grew up in Solon, IA and attended the United States Military Academy, West Point graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and commissioning as an Infantry officer. The Army brought Andrew to Alaska in 2015. After leaving active duty, Andrew worked as an EMT-II for the Matanuska Susitna Borough EMS. He later attended the University of Washington where he obtained his Physician’s Assistant degree.

He lives in the valley with his wife, Mikana and their two children. His hobbies include hunting, hiking, fishing, and spending time with family. He is excited to practice medicine in the community he calls home and continue serving the great people of Alaska.
